Outreach & tenancy sustainment
Practical support that helps young people manage their tenancy, build independence and create a stable home.
Make a referralSupport delivered in the young person’s home
Our flexible outreach service supports young people aged 16–25 who live in their own tenancy, temporary accommodation, supported housing or another community-based setting. Support is delivered in the young person’s home and community, shaped around their goals, strengths, risks and changing circumstances.
We work alongside the young person — not simply doing things for them — so that each contact builds knowledge, confidence and independence.

The young people we work with
Preparing for independence
Looked-after children preparing for independence, and care leavers living in their first tenancy.
Moving on & at risk
Young people moving on from supported accommodation, or at risk of tenancy breakdown or homelessness.
Extra help to thrive
Young people on the edge of care, receiving Youth Justice support, NEET or at risk of becoming NEET, or needing help to manage appointments, finances and independent living.
Support tailored to each young person
Support is tailored to the young person and their tenancy, and may include:
- Understanding tenancy responsibilities
- Budgeting, bills and managing Universal Credit
- Preventing rent arrears and responding early to concerns
- Cleaning, cooking and household routines
- Reporting repairs and communicating with landlords
- Attending housing, benefits, health and professional appointments
- Accessing education, training and employment
- Confidence, motivation and emotional-regulation strategies
- Personal safety, healthy relationships and safer decision-making
- Liaising with social workers, personal advisers and housing officers
Every young person receives an individual assessment and an outcome-focused support plan.
