Overview

Homes matched to each young person

We run two 24-hour supported homes and one floating-support home. Our supported homes offer semi-independent, mixed-gender shared living for young people aged 16 and over; our floating-support service works with young people aged 18 and over in their own tenancy.

We provide Categories 2 and 3 of supported accommodation, as defined by the Guide to Supported Accommodation Regulations (March 2023), for looked-after children and care leavers. Each young person is matched to a home based on their needs, age and the support they require. For safeguarding reasons we show area-level locations only — never precise addresses or identifying details.

A newly refurbished six-bedroom home (16+), staffed 24 hours a day. One vacancy available.

A second semi-independent home (16+) with the same round-the-clock staffing and key-working.

Support that follows the young person (18+) into their own tenancy as they move towards full independence.

How the homes run

Staffed and settled

Each home operates a core two-shift pattern — a waking day shift and a sleep-in or waking night shift — so there is always a trained member of staff on hand. Levels of support are increased or decreased in consultation with the placing authority, including 1:1 support where it is needed.

Every bedroom comes furnished with a bed, wardrobe, drawers, bedside cabinet, desk, chair and a welcome pack. Homes have a communal living room, shared kitchen and bathroom, a staff office, and fire safety and security measures throughout.
